Partner Terms
Effective October 15, 2026 · Last updated October 16, 2026
These Partner Terms are an agreement between CourtRemind™ ("we," "us") and you, a person who joins the CourtRemind™ partner program ("Partner"). By joining, you agree to these terms.
1. The program
You receive a personal referral link. If an attorney, law firm, bail agency, or other business opens your link and, within 60 days, creates a CourtRemind™ account and subscribes to a Solo, Pro, or Firm plan, you earn a referral fee of $49 for that customer. Customers who sign up through your link receive 50% off their first month of a monthly plan.
2. When a referral fee is earned
- One fee per referred customer, no matter which of those plans it chooses or how long it stays after that.
- The customer must stay subscribed for at least two billing periods: on a monthly plan, its second monthly payment must go through; an annual plan qualifies with its annual payment.
- The fee counts no sooner than 60 days after the customer's first payment, and only if its payments have not been refunded, reversed, or disputed.
- No fee is earned for Starter plans, free trials, complimentary plans, customers who already had a CourtRemind™ account, your own firm or employer, or accounts you control.
- If a visitor opens more than one referral link, the most recent link counts.
3. Payment
- Fees are paid through Stripe, our payment processor, to the bank account you connect through Stripe. You must complete Stripe's identity and tax information requirements to be paid. We never receive your bank or tax details.
- On the first day of each month, we send all earned fees once your earned balance is $50 or more. Smaller balances carry over.
- You are responsible for any taxes on your fees. We or Stripe may issue tax forms as required by law.
- Fees are paid in U.S. dollars to U.S. bank accounts.
4. How you may promote CourtRemind™
- Disclose that you are paid. Whenever you recommend CourtRemind™, tell people that you may earn a referral fee. The message we provide includes this disclosure.
- Be truthful. Do not make claims about CourtRemind™ that are not on our website, and do not promise results.
- No spam: do not send unsolicited bulk email or text messages, and follow all laws that apply to your messages.
- Do not bid on "CourtRemind" or similar terms in paid search ads, use coupon or deal sites, or present yourself as CourtRemind™ or as acting on our behalf.
- Do not offer cash, rebates, or other incentives to anyone for signing up through your link.
5. Not legal services, not a client referral
You are referring customers to a software service. This program does not involve referring legal clients or cases, and nothing about it is payment for recommending any attorney. You are an independent participant, not our employee, agent, or partner in a legal sense.
6. Ending participation
You may leave at any time by emailing hello@courtremind.com. We may remove you from the program, or cancel unpaid fees, if you break these terms, if referrals appear fraudulent or self-referred, or for any reason with notice. If we remove you without cause, fees already earned will be paid. We may change or end the program at any time; changes apply to referrals made after the change.
7. Other terms
Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle your information. Sections 11 through 16 of our Terms of Service (disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law and disputes, changes, and general terms) also apply to the program, with "Service" meaning the partner program.
