Tips for a reminder that works
- Send more than one: about a week before and the day before. Reminder schedules.
- Include the street address and department, not just "court."
- Keep the case out of it: no charges, case numbers, or details. Ethics of text reminders.
- No links: many carriers filter automated texts that contain them.

Questions
Is the generator free?
Yes. Use it as often as you like; nothing is saved or sent. Copy the text and send it from your own phone or texting tool.
Why are there no accents in the Spanish text?
Accented letters switch a text message to a format that holds far fewer characters per segment, which can make it cost two or three times as much, and some phones display them incorrectly. Leaving them out keeps the message readable and short.
What is an SMS segment?
A standard text message holds up to 160 plain characters. Longer messages are split into segments of 153 characters that phones put back together. Many texting services bill each segment.
Can these be sent automatically?
Yes. CourtRemind sends the same reminders automatically from your Google or Outlook calendar, 7, 3, and 1 day before each court date, to clients and family, in English or Spanish.
